Women of the Iranian Revolution
Producer | Director | EditorThe Iranian Revolution of 1979, also known as the Islamic Revolution, was a series of events that culminated in the overthrow of the Pahlavi dynasty under Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, and the replacement of his government with an Islamic republic under the rule of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.
Of those who lived in Iran during the Revolution, resisted such invasive laws and were exiled or imprisoned as a result, three woman live to tell the tale. Shahin Navai, Diana Nammi and Nasrin Parvaz all fought for freedom, justice and equal rights in 1979 and continue to do so to this day.

Sir Joseph Banks: Pioneer of British Botany
